We are currently reviewing our appointment system. We are keen to make best use of the full range of health professional services at the health centre. These include not only our General Practitioners but also our Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacist and Multi-skeletal specialist. We intend that access to our appointments is designed in a way which is fair to all and intended to direct you, as soon as we possibly can, to the best person available to deal with your health need. Our Care Navigators [Receptionists] are well trained in doing this and we ask that you assist them in their intentions to improve your patient experience. Our Patient Engagement Group is helping us to develop our access improvements.
Telephone Advice or Consultations
Sometimes you may want to speak to the doctor or nurse for advice. Ask the receptionist, the person you want may not be immediately available but arrangements can be made to phone you back or to log your query in our Query Book. This is accessed by the Doctors at the end of your Surgery and you will be asked to contact us in 24 hours for the answer.
Should this be an urgent query, please make this clear to the Receptionist who will access help or advice from the Doctor as soon as possible.
Please note the doctors are in surgery until 12.30 and can only return calls after this time.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
